U1 Max: Built to work as a fleet.

U1 Max is the largest, highest-capacity autonomous hospitality robot in the Synthra U1 Series. It carries the most, runs the longest, and coordinates with other U1 Max robots as one service system, built for hotels, food halls, large restaurants, and large buffets.

How does a U1 Max fleet run a large venue?

Several U1 Max robots share one understanding of the venue. Across a service, they spread out to cover it, take each request by position and available capacity, route around changes any one of them perceives, and charge in turns, so the venue is served by one system rather than robot by robot.

Fleet, cluster, and multi-node coordination is a U1 Max capability. U1e and U1 recognize other Synthra robots on the floor.

  1. Shares what it sees.

One robot perceives a change and the whole fleet updates its picture of the venue, so every robot routes around what only one of them has seen.

    • Shared environmental understanding
    • Robot-to-robot communication
    • Location awareness
  2. Takes the request it is best placed for.

Each request goes to the robot best placed for it by position, workload, and available capacity, and urgent requests go first.

    • Distributed task assignment
    • Workload distribution
    • Service prioritization
  3. Takes turns at busy points.

When two robots reach a narrow crossing, one goes first and the other holds, so robots take turns instead of converging on the same point.

    • Traffic management
  4. Charges in turns.

A robot low on charge hands its next request to one with capacity, then docks. Its tables stay covered while it charges.

    • Charging coordination

Not several robots. One service system.

Does U1 Max have more intelligence than U1?

No. U1 Max runs the same Synthra intelligence platform as U1 and U1e. What it adds is physical and operational: the largest body in the family, the highest payload, the longest endurance, and fleet coordination, so several U1 Max robots can share one understanding of a venue and divide its work.

Illustrative still: a U1’s scan sweeps a dining room as points resolve tables, chairs, seated guests and a standing server.

How the Synthra intelligence platform works

Where does U1 Max work best?

U1 Max is built for high-traffic hospitality: hotels, food halls, large restaurants, and large buffet operations. It suits venues with heavier loads, longer service hours, and enough floor to need several robots, where coordinated U1 Max fleets divide requests, share the space, and take turns charging.

How does U1 Max compare with U1e and U1?

U1 Max runs the same Synthra intelligence platform as U1e and U1; it differs in body and in fleet coordination. It is the largest model, with the highest payload and longest endurance, for hotels, food halls, and large buffets. U1 is the general-purpose restaurant model. U1e is the compact model for cafés and narrow aisles.

What does a venue set up before U1 Max starts service?

Deployment starts with understanding, not route programming. U1 Max enters the venue, explores it, and builds its own spatial understanding of tables, pathways, service areas, and docks. The venue uploads its menu, menu descriptions, dietary and service information, and operating parameters, then sets a standby area and a docking location.

Questions about U1 Max

Answers for operators planning a deployment. For anything specific to your venue, talk to Synthra. Choosing between models or looking for dimensions? See the U1 Series questions.

How many U1 Max robots can work together?

Fleet size limits have not been published. U1 Max is designed for fleets, clusters, and multi-node coordination, and the right number depends on floor area, traffic, service volume, and hours. Talk to Synthra about your venue rather than planning from a general figure.

How does a U1 Max fleet handle charging?

Charging is coordinated across the fleet. Robots charge in turns rather than all at once, and when one returns to its dock, its open service requests pass to robots with available capacity. Once charged, it reports itself available and rejoins distributed task assignment.

Is U1 Max suited to hotels?

Yes. Hotels are a primary U1 Max environment, alongside food halls, large restaurants, and large buffets. Its larger body, highest payload in the family, and longest endurance suit long service hours across large floors, and fleet coordination lets several robots cover dining rooms, buffets, and service areas as one system.

Plan a U1 Max fleet for your venue.

Tell Synthra about your venue: floor area, traffic, service hours, and volume. The team will confirm how many U1 Max robots your venue would need and what deployment involves.
