T1: an AI assistant on every table.

T1 is a tabletop AI assistant in development at Synthra Robotics. A small device stays on each table, with or without a display, so guests always have an assistant within reach: to order, to ask about the menu, and to set the mood during the meal. It runs on the same intelligence platform as Eatly and the U1 Series robots.

What will T1 do at the table?

T1 is being designed to take orders by voice, answer questions about the menu during the meal, keep the table’s mood light when asked, and play soothing music for tables in booths or behind partitions. Orders still reach the restaurant’s team, as they do with Eatly.

  • Order without waiting

Guests order, or add to their order, by talking to the assistant on their table at any point in the meal.

  • Answer during the meal

Questions about a dish, a drink or the menu get an answer at the table, without stopping the conversation to find a server.

  • Lighten the mood

Asked for it, T1 can tell a joke or keep the table’s conversation light.

  • Music for private tables

In restaurants where tables sit in booths or behind partitions, T1 can play soothing music for that table.

Will T1 have a display?

T1 is planned in two forms: one with a display that shows the menu and the order, and one that works by voice alone. That lets it suit both a casual table and a quiet one. Sizes, materials and specifications are not final and are not published yet.

  • With a display

Shows the menu, the order and its options at the table.

  • Without a display

Voice only: a small presence on the table that listens when asked.

How does T1 fit with Eatly and the U1 robots?

T1 is the second step on the same Synthra intelligence platform. It takes Eatly’s AI ordering from the guest’s phone to the table itself, so the assistant is always there. The U1 Series robots then take the same intelligence onto the floor to carry orders to the table.

Questions about T1

What is T1?

T1 is a tabletop AI assistant being developed by Synthra Robotics. It sits on each table, with or without a display, so guests can order, ask questions and set the mood without waiting for staff. It extends Eatly’s AI ordering from the guest’s phone to the table itself.

Is T1 available?

Not yet. T1 is in development. Specifications, pricing and availability will be published when they are ready. Restaurants can register interest through the contact form.

How is T1 different from Eatly?

Eatly runs on the guest’s own phone after scanning the table’s QR code. T1 is a device that stays on the table, so the assistant is always there, can be spoken to directly, and can do more for the table, such as playing music in private booths.

Does T1 replace staff?

No. T1 takes routine requests, such as orders and menu questions, so staff can spend their time on service. Orders still reach the restaurant’s team.
