Eatly: AI dining companion for every table.

Eatly is Synthra’s AI ordering and restaurant management system. Guests scan the QR code on their table, ask an AI assistant about the menu, customize dishes and order without waiting for staff. The restaurant’s team sees every order on one dashboard, approves it, and replies when a request can’t be made.

How does ordering work for guests?

Guests scan the QR code on their table and the restaurant’s menu opens in the phone’s browser. They can ask the AI assistant what to try or what a dish contains, choose the options the restaurant offers, and send the order without waiting for staff.

  1. Scan the table’s QR code

The restaurant’s menu opens in the phone’s browser, linked to that table. Nothing to download.
  2. Ask the assistant

Guests ask in their own words: what is vegetarian, what is in a dish, what to try. The assistant answers from the restaurant’s own menu and its published ingredient and allergen information.
  3. Customize and order

Choose a size, a sauce or another option the restaurant offers, and send the order. No one has to come to the table to take it.
  4. Follow the order

Guests can ask the assistant how their order is doing, or call staff from the same screen.

What does the restaurant’s team see?

Every order reaches the restaurant’s Eatly dashboard first. The manager or order-taker sees the table and each customization, approves the order, or sends the guest an update when a request can’t be made, such as a change the kitchen can’t do.

  1. See every order on one screen

The manager or order-taker sees new orders, with each guest’s customizations and table, as they arrive.
  2. Approve it, or reply

Staff approve an order, or send the guest an update when a request can’t be made, such as a customization the kitchen can’t do.
  3. Keep guests informed

Guests see the order’s progress on their phone, so fewer trips to the table just to answer “where is my food?”

Will Eatly work with the systems we already use?

That is the plan. Eatly is being built to integrate with the leading restaurant management (POS) platforms and payment systems restaurants already use. Orders and payments will flow into the tools the team runs today, so a restaurant adds AI ordering without changing how it works.

  • POS and restaurant management

Eatly orders will go into the point-of-sale and restaurant management platform the restaurant already runs, next to the orders staff take, so the day still has one record.

  • Payments

Guests will pay through the payment provider the restaurant already uses, so payouts, refunds and end-of-day reconciliation work as they do today.

  • Kitchen display and printers

Approved orders will reach the kitchen display or ticket printer the kitchen already reads, with every customization written out.

  • Reservations and table management

Orders will line up with the booking and table plan the front of house already keeps, so the team sees each table’s visit in one place.

Launch partners: tell us which POS, payment and kitchen systems you use, and we’ll plan the connection with you.

What can guests ask the assistant?

The assistant answers from the restaurant’s own menu: which dishes suit a diet, what a dish contains according to the restaurant’s published ingredient and allergen information, which options a dish has, and how an order is doing. For anything else, guests can call staff from the same screen.

  • “Which dishes are vegetarian or vegan?”
  • “What is in this dish, and does it contain an allergen?”
  • “Which options can I choose for this dish?”
  • “Where is my order?”

How does Eatly fit with T1 and the U1 robots?

Eatly is the first step of three on the same Synthra intelligence platform. It brings AI ordering to the guest’s phone with no hardware to buy. T1 will bring the same assistant to the table itself, and the U1 Series robots carry orders across the floor, so a restaurant can add either one later.

Questions about Eatly

What is Eatly?

Eatly is Synthra Robotics’ AI ordering and restaurant management system. Guests scan a QR code at their table, ask an AI assistant about the menu, customize and order from their phone, and staff approve each order on the Eatly dashboard. It is the first of Synthra’s three product lines, ahead of T1 and the U1 Series robots.

How does QR code ordering with an AI assistant work?

Each table has a QR code. Scanning it opens the restaurant’s menu in the phone’s browser, tied to that table. Guests can search the menu, ask the assistant questions in plain language, choose options and send the order. The order appears on the restaurant’s dashboard, where staff approve it or reply.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Eatly opens in the phone’s web browser from the table’s QR code.

Can staff decline or change a customization?

Yes. Every order reaches the restaurant’s dashboard first. Staff approve it, or send the guest an update when a request can’t be made, for example a customization the kitchen can’t do.

Will Eatly work with our POS and payment system?

That is the plan. Eatly is being built to integrate with the leading restaurant management (POS) platforms and payment systems restaurants already use, so orders and payments flow into the tools the team runs today and the restaurant doesn’t have to change how it works. Tell us which systems you use when you apply.

Does Eatly need robots or special hardware?

No. Eatly runs on the guest’s phone and a screen for staff. It is how a restaurant of any size can use Synthra’s AI without buying robots. T1 tabletop assistants and U1 robots can be added later on the same platform.
